DO
-
Use mild liquid cleaners (dish soap, baking soda + water, or vinegar + water).
-
Always clean with a soft cloth or sponge.
-
Clean spills promptly to prevent staining.
-
For hard water stains, use a vinegar-soaked soft cloth, then wipe clean.
-
Apply automotive wax periodically to protect and restore shine.
-
For light scratches, use automotive wax or a hand-held polisher.
-
On matte finishes, light sanding (350–600 grit) may restore the surface.

DON'T
-
Do not use abrasive pads, steel wool, sandpaper, or scrapers.
-
Do not use harsh chemicals (bleach, acetone, paint removers, drain cleaners).
-
Do not let aggressive products sit on the surface for long periods.
-
Do not use rubbing compound (too aggressive for gel-coat).
-
Do not use metal or rough household sponges.
-
Do not attempt deep scratch repairs yourself — contact a professional.
